Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June – Double room with breakfast £99 (this is for 2 people, not per head)

Saturday 23rd June  (£20 per room lower than Best Western’s fixed rate for Saturday nights) - Double room £140 (for 2 people not per head).

Sunday 24th June 2012 (for anyone staying over) - Double room with breakfast £79  (for 2 people).

**Car Park - there is a small car park at the rear of the Hotel, for residents only, and a public car park nearby.

Travel

The nearest airport to Stratford upon Avon is Birmingham. An alternative option is to fly to London Heathrow.   Both options involve travel to Stratford upon Avon by taxi, train or coach (bus).
 
A. Travelling from Birmingham International Airport.

Option 1. Taxi to Stratford upon Avon. 26 miles, cost about £40. 
Option 2. Train to Birmingham New Street Station, then a short walk to Birmingham Moor Street, and train from Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford.
Option 3. National Express coach to Birmingham Digbeth coach station 20 mins, and then coach to Stratford. 

B. Travelling from London Heathrow.

Option 1. Underground (tube) to London Marylebone Station; then Chiltern Railways train from Marylebone to Stratford upon Avon. The Chiltern Railways train runs every two hours, through attractive countryside. 
Option 2. Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station; tube to London Euston station; Virgin train London Euston to Birmingham New Street station; short walk  to Birmingham Moor Street station; then train from Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford upon Avon.
Option 3. Taxi to central London,  - 40 – 60 mins, (£45), then as Option 1 or 2 above. 
Option 4. National Express coach  to Birmingham Digbeth coach station, then coach from Birmingham to Stratford ( 4 – 5 hours). 
Option 5. Car journey 90 miles, about 2 hours.

Possible Confusions
  1. There are two main Stratfords in England: Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire and Stratford in East London.

  2. The railway station at Birmingham Airport is called Birmingham International, and the main railway station in Birmingham city centre is called Birmingham New Street.

  3. Trains to Stratford upon Avon are NOT available from Birmingham New Street station. To travel to Stratford by train, you must take a short walk from New Street station to Birmingham Moor Street station. The route is signposted.
